Are You Being Mindful?

Dear Soul Family, What are your thoughts saying to you? Do you take pause to question some of them? If your thoughts are not positive where do you suppose they are coming from? Your Heart or your Ego? We all have our share of positive and negative experiences, but if we are not healing them, what happens? These negative experiences will keep showing up in different ways, giving you the opportunity to heal them so that you can move forward to live in the present moment. The great awakening is happening in so many different ways that many of us are left reeling from it! Many of us are not taught how to heal the past in order to simply enjoy the moment that we are in. Some tend to live in the past where the hurts, traumas, trespasses and negative emotions reside and in the future where the unknown takes a fear-based connotation. It doesn't have to be this way...

An easy way to navigate all the mind chatter, is by taking the time to acknowledge what thoughts are coming your way. If a thought is not empowering you or making you feel good about yourself, then it is not coming from your heart and therefore it is not helping you to stay in the present. These low vibration negative thoughts are not only taking your power away, they are keeping you in lack and survival mode. When you start to take the time to be mindful, you first become aware and then, you acknowledge them. Once you do this, ask yourself if the thought is yours; it could very well be an influence that isn't yours at all. When you get your answer, if it is not yours, then say so! It's not mine! Then take a deep breath and allow your mind to bring in the positive opposite of that thought you just released. Keep doing this until you control your mind, not the other way around. Until the mind is disciplined, the ego mind will be in control. You are in charge of your mind, so do not let it dominate! With practice, this can be a simple task that helps you become more present in your life; simply living in the moment rather than worrying about something that you cannot change or something that has not even happened yet. Now is really all we have after all! Once you take the time to work on yourself and heal the past, a beautiful thing begins to occur; your focus becomes more present and thus so do you! You may find that you're not sure how to go about this, and if this is the case, there are many therapists and practitioners that can help guide you through it. When you begin the journey, a whole new world opens up to you helping enjoy the moment without thinking or being triggered by past events that long for release. You begin to identify with your heart more and more whereby it becomes your "go to" when you need help. Healing is a wondrous thing! It has been in the shadows far too long and is now poking us to bring about the shadows of our past to the fore and to say goodbye once and for all! Through all the rough patches coming at you, remember that there is a light at the end of the tunnel just waiting for you! Take the time for yourself and enjoy all that the moment has to offer you! As you know there is a "Gift" in the Present - why not embrace it!!!! Wishing you and yours Love, Health & Prosperity! With much Love & Gratitude, Gisèle
